James Rich
Partner James Rich concentrates his practice in the area of complex litigation with a focus on insurance defense and personal injury claims. Mr. Rich began his legal career at Harris, Wyatt & Amala, LLC, starting as an associate in 1997. Today, he is experienced as both a trial and appellate advocate.
After graduating with distinction from the University of Nevada, Reno in 1993, Mr. Rich earned his Juris Doctor from Willamette University College of Law in 1997. While at Willamette, Mr. Rich earned a Certificate in Dispute Resolution and was an Associate Editor of the Willamette Law Review. He was admitted to the Oregon State Bar in 1997, and to the United States District Court, District of Oregon in 2002. He is a member of the Marion County Bar Association, the Multnomah County Bar Association, and the Oregon Association of Defense Counsel.
