Jay P. Harris II is a partner in the law firm of Harris, Wyatt & Amala, LLC, and his practice focuses on insurance defense, wrongful death, and personal injury.  After graduating from the University of California at Los Angeles in 1969, Mr. Harris earned a J.D. from Willamette University College of Law in 1973.  Mr. Harris was admitted to the Oregon State Bar in 1973, and was also admitted to practice in U.S. District Court, District of Oregon in 1973.  Mr. Harris is a member of the Oregon State Bar, the Marion County Bar Association, the Multnomah County Bar Association, and the Oregon Association of Defense Counsel.  Mr. Harris is also an AV® rated attorney by Martindale Hubble.  An AV® certification mark is a significant rating accomplishment - a testament to the fact that a lawyer's peers rank him or her at the highest level of professional excellence.
